ChessBase India invites you to 1st Phoenix Marketcity Rapid Rating Open on International Chess Day

ChessBase India and Phoenix Marketcity Mumbai is organizing 1st Phoenix Marketcity Rapid Rating Open 2024. The tournament will take place on International Chess Day on 20th July. Thus, it is also part of Guinness World Records official attempt. The inaugural edition of this event is offering a first prize of ₹20000 and a total prize fund of ₹100000. Total 49 prizes, 25 main and 24 special prizes are up for grabs. Entry is FREE for GM, IM, WGM and WIMs. For everyone else, it is ₹300 till 15th July, afterward it will be ₹500. ChessBase India has organized countless events at Phoenix Marketcity Mumbai. On International Chess Day, Saturday 20th July, ChessBase India and Phoenix Marketcity Mumbai are organizing a Rapid Rating Open tournament at the same place. This is also the first rapid rating open tournament organized by ChessBase India in Mumbai. It is part of an official attempt for FIDE 100 Guinness World Records. Check out all the details below.
