9-year-old Madhvendra Pratap Sharma wins Khelo Chess India Blitz 2023 with a perfect 7/7
ChessBase India is organizing tournaments continuously as part of 'Khelo Chess India' at Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The reigning MPL 35th National Under-9 Open champion, Madhvendra Pratap Sharma won the Blitz tournament with a 100% score of 7/7. Currently, Bhopal's top player, Aishwin Daniel scored 5.5/7 to finish second. His sole loss was against the eventual champion, Madhvendra in the fourth round. There is a dawn of a new chess era at the capital of Madhya Pradesh - Bhopal. The reason behind it is the continuous organization of Rapid and Blitz events, part of Khelo Chess India series.
