The top three prizes were ₹50000, ₹30000 and ₹20000 along with a trophy each respectively. Only Sudhanshu remained undefeated among top ten. The tournament was organized in memory of Nitai Ghosh. Sudhanshu's first Rating tournament victory of his career
Sudhanshu Ranjan was the sole leader 7.5/8 heading into the final round. Rahul Gurung was the sole player in pursuit. He was trailing by a half point at 7/8. A draw against Rahul was enough for Sudhanshu to become champion. That's exactly what he did. Kishan Kumar beat his statemate Ashutosh Kumar and Anushka Gupta won against Ishan Sinha. Kishan secured second place and Anushka third. She is the only female finisher among top 30. 189th seeded unrated 10-year-old Ujan Chanda had a fantastic tournament. He scored an impressive 7/9 to finish eighth.
