The top Indian gainer in September FIDE Rating list is - IM Divya Deshmukh improved her rank from World no.18 to 15 among Women. R Praggnanandhaa also returned to 2750 by gaining 0.8 Elo rating point at Grand Chess Tour Sinquefield Cup 2024.

For the first time in Indian chess history, four Indian women are in top 15. IM Divya Deshmukh gained 10.8 Elo rating points at 30th Abu Dhabi Masters 2024. She is now World no.15 among Women. Currently, there are ten Indians among the top 100 women.
