Nikolas Theodorou triumphs at Summer Chess Classic 2023, Raunak Sadhwani second

GM Nikolas Theodorou (GRE) scored 6/9 to win Summer Chess Classic 2023. He finished a half point ahead of the field. GM Raunak Sadhwani and GM John M Burke (USA) scored 5.5/9 each. They shared the second place. Raunak's sole loss of the event was against the eventual champion, Theodorou in the third round. The total prize fund combining both events was US$ 36000. The top three prizes in A were $6000, $4000 and $3000. GM Pranav Venkatesh and GM Krishnan Sasikiran were the only two other Indians taking part in this event.
