Kaidanov - Karthik

Position after 20.dxe5?

White made a questionable decision to play 20.dxe5? It increased the vulnerability of his king. Karthik correctly executed 20...Ng4 which put in a firm control of the position. 21.Re2 dxe5 22.Rd1 Be6 23.Na5 Qf6 24.Nxc6 Nxf2 and things just went downhill for White afterward.

Position after 24...Nxf2!

Karthik converted his advantage into a full point without any difficulty.
